year 7 2008

Hi parents and students of 7D

Well another term and come to an end and pretty soon we will be going into year 8, as for those of you who are not aware all year levels go up to the next year level in the last 3 weeks of term 4, we call this process Flying Start.

Each of the students was sent home on Friday with their portfolio, please take the time to go through this with your child and feel free to make comments and send them back. We need all the portfolio’s back by the end of next semester as their new year 8 teachers will want to look at them.

On another note you will see that we have not done too much work on the blogs these last few weeks. We have been playing with a new site called Voice Thread and you may see your childs work on this by using this link:

I think they have done a great job as first timers using this site and have done some good work on The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe on it.

Have a great break and I look forward to our last term together for 2008.
